Tony Levine (born October 28, 1972) is the head coach for the Houston Cougars football team of the University of Houston. He was named interim head football coach of the Cougars, after Kevin Sumlin left for Texas A&M. Shortly thereafter, he was named the Cougars' Head Coach on December 21, 2011. Levine coached the team in the 2012 TicketCity Bowl.[1][2][3]

A walk-on wide receiver at Minnesota under Jim Wacker, Levine became a three-year starter and was twice named to the Academic All-Big Ten team. Before coming to Houston, the St. Paul native spent time at Texas State, Auburn, Louisiana Tech, Louisville and the NFL's Carolina Panthers.
